"For me the most important aspect of Auckland City Painters work was the ease of communication, the professionalism and the calm they bring to the job."

"They finished within the timeframe they had stated, which was so important for us — as a rental property, we needed to get it back on the market as soon as possible, and Auckland City Painters were fantastic at getting the work done well and on time."

"The previous three times I can remember having the house painted, we used a different firm — and I must say, their teams weren’t as professional, competent, or diligent as the Auckland City Painters team was."

This character villa on Grove Road, Sandringham had been under a lime green scheme for years, with paint failing across multiple weatherboards and window joinery. Rather than paint over the problem, we stripped every delaminated surface back to bare timber before re-priming and recoating. The weatherboards were finished in a Dulux Narrowneck Half colour-match through Resene Lumbersider, with the fretwork and veranda posts in Resene Alabaster, the deck in Resene Tapa, and the front door in Resene Nero. The owner was so pleased with the result that she sent our crew home with two bottles of champagne.
This rented-out Devonport home on Cheltenham Road needed interior and exterior painting completed fast ahead of a tight sale deadline. We supplied a full team of six painters, increasing resources whenever bad weather threatened progress, and ran multiple site checks to keep every detail on track. Interior walls were finished in Resene Rice Cake with ceilings in Resene Alabaster, while exterior windows were repainted in Resene Alabaster to sharpen street appeal. The house was finished ahead of schedule, staged, and listed on time, with the owners praising our attention to detail.
This two-storey Meadowbank bungalow had coatings reaching the end of their life, and the owners wanted the whole property refreshed alongside ongoing renovation work. We set up full scaffolding, washed the exterior, and coordinated closely with the builder and window installers around new double glazing being fitted. Window rot was repaired with epoxy filler before topcoating. The exterior was finished in Resene Lumbersider Duck Egg Blue, with Resene Lustacryl Sea Fog on windows and soffits, giving the home a bright, modern, protected finish inside and out.
This weatherboard bungalow on Ladies Mile, Remuera had reached the point where recoating wasn’t an option, the old paint system had failed completely. We stripped all coatings back to bare timber following certified lead-paint removal procedures, then applied Resene Wood Primer to prepare the surface. Weatherboards were topcoated in Resene Lumbersider, with windows and trims in Resene Lustacryl for a consistent finish. Starting fresh from bare timber, rather than painting over failing layers, gave the new system a sound base, the bungalow is now fully restored and protected.
