Our extensive prep work includes (but is not limited to) power-washing, scraping loose paint, sanding, filling holes/defects, sealing gaps, replacing missing window putty, treating rust, priming, and undercoating.

QUALITY PAINTS
Essentially a jacket, paint coatings are responsible for protecting your home from our beautiful yet fickle Auckland weather. With good amounts of sun, rain and humidity all in one day, our ‘city of sails’ can really test the integrity of your home, which is why it’s important to have a paint coating that can take a beating.
At Auckland City Painters we don’t cut corners…we paint them and only using premium quality paints that have been proven to withstand our kiwi climate. We use and recommend Resene paints and also have trade accounts with Dulux and other reputable brands if specified. What we won’t use is low quality or inferior paint and products which compromise the quality and longevity of our work.

How many coats?
Generally this means a 3 coat system for new work and a 2 coat system for repaints.
