The roof was also in poor condition, with thick dark mould and areas of exposed metal requiring careful preparation.

Prepared the roof by addressing exposed metal, priming where required, and repainting with Resene Summit Roof paint
Machine sanded weatherboards extensively to remove failing paint on weathered faces
Applied Resene TimberLock to exposed and cracked timber on the north-east and north-west elevations
Coated prepared areas with Resene Wood Primer to stabilise the substrate
Repainted weatherboards using Resene Lumbersider in Silver Chalice for a clean, modern finish
Finished soffits in Resene Black White to brighten the exterior and create sharp contrast
