Yes, we provide free, no-obligation quotes. We’ll visit your property, assess the scope of work, and give you a clear, itemised estimate so you know exactly what’s included.

We supply and manage all paint and materials as part of your project. This ensures we’re using the right products for your home and guarantees the quality of the finish.

*Yes! To thank you for choosing to work with us, we’ll arrange for a professional colour consultant to come to your home and help you make the right choice — completely free of charge! (Offer applies when using Resene paints only.)

The timeframe depends on the size and complexity of your project. A small interior repaint may take just a few days, while a full exterior repaint or larger home can take one to three weeks. We’ll give you a clear timeline before work begins and keep you updated throughout the project.

Yes, we work on all styles of homes, from modern builds to heritage villas and bungalows. We adjust our approach and preparation methods to suit the age, style, and condition of your property.

Full exterior and interior house painting is our specialty, and we work in dedicated teams to deliver the best results for our clients. Because of this, we’re generally not the best fit for smaller one-off jobs, like painting a single wall, door, or touch-up.

However, we’re always happy to discuss your project and see if we can help. In some cases, a sole tradesman in your area may be better suited for this type of work.

Yes — we stand by the quality of our work with our own personal 5-Star Guarantee, so you can feel confident your project is in good hands.

In addition, as Registered Master Painters, we offer extra cover through Master Painters New  Zealand:

  • For residential repaints, you’re automatically covered by the Master Painters Automatic Guarantee, which protects workmanship for up to $15,000 (or the contract price, whichever is lower)

  • If your residential project is valued at over $15,000, you can choose to add the Residential 5-Year Workmanship Guarantee, which covers up to $50,000 (or the contract price, whichever is lower). This extra protection requires an application and fee.

  • For commercial projects, there is no automatic cover — but you can choose to add the Commercial 5-Year Workmanship Guarantee, which covers up to $60,000 (or the contract price, whichever is lower). This also requires an application, a fee, and must be arranged before work starts.

If you’d like to know which guarantee best suits your project, just ask — we’re always happy to help.

We primarily use and recommend Resene and Dulux paints for most applications, and we always choose low-VOC products where possible to help maintain healthier indoor air quality and reduce strong paint odours while your project is being completed.

Yes. Our quotes are fully comprehensive and cover scaffolding, materials, preparation, and painting. There are no surprises — everything required to complete your project is included unless stated otherwise.

No, we pride ourselves on transparent pricing. If we discover unexpected issues, such as rotten timber or surfaces requiring extra preparation, we’ll discuss them with you first and provide an updated variation before proceeding.

Project Process & Preparation

Yes, we handle all the scaffolding for you, so there’s nothing you need to organise. For larger or more complex areas, we work with trusted professionals to ensure everything is safe and set up properly.

Yes, our team will stay on your project from start to finish without juggling multiple jobs. The only exception is if you require staged work, in which case we’ll schedule it accordingly.

We take great care to protect your home. Indoors, we cover floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop sheets. Outside, we protect your paths, plants, and gardens from overspray and splashes using covers and masking materials.

Absolutely. We take great pride in leaving your home clean and tidy at the end of each workday and upon completion of the project.

We recommend moving small items and valuables where possible. For everything else, we’ll handle the protection of floors, furniture, and fixtures as part of our setup.

For exterior projects, weather can be a factor. We closely monitor Auckland’s conditions and plan around them to minimise delays. If weather interrupts work, we’ll keep you updated and reschedule as needed.

Older Homes & Specialised Services

Yes, we can help with paint stripping and lead-based paint removal when needed. For older homes, like villas and bungalows, we assess the condition of existing coatings and let you know if full stripping is necessary for a long-lasting result.

If lead-based paint is present, we follow strict safety and environmental procedures to protect your family, our team, and your property. We’ll always discuss your options and provide a clear quote before starting any work.

Yes. If we find damaged or rotten timber, and you don’t already have someone, we can arrange for our building contractor to take care of it. Alternatively, we can recommend a trusted builder if needed. We’ll always discuss the options and costs with you first.

Yes, we specialise in working on character villas and bungalows. Our team takes extra care to preserve heritage features like decorative trims, mouldings, and timber detailing while achieving a modern, long-lasting finish.

Yes, we can restore faded or oxidised powder-coated aluminium joinery using specialist products like Everbrite coating to bring back the original colour and gloss. This is a great option for modern homes where the window frames have weathered over time.

Scheduling & Timelines

We do our best to accommodate your schedule and minimize disruption. If you have specific timing requirements, let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it work. For time-critical projects, especially in commercial spaces, we can even arrange after-hours work to ensure minimal downtime.

During busy periods, we’re often booked several weeks in advance. We recommend getting in touch early, especially if you have a specific timeframe in mind.

Maintenance & Aftercare

The timing for a repaint depends on several factors, including age of the paint, exposure to weather, and quality of previous work:

  • Exteriors: Repainting every 7–10 years is typical, but harsh conditions may shorten this.

  • Interiors: Generally last 10+ years, but high-traffic areas may need refreshing sooner.

  • If you notice fading, peeling, cracking, or chalky surfaces, it’s time to repaint.

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to assess your home and give you tailored advice.

For exterior paintwork, we recommend washing your house exterior every six months to remove dirt, mould, and pollutants. You can use a soft brush or sponge with mild detergent and water, or careful low-pressure waterblasting if done correctly. Avoid using high pressure too close to the surface, as it can damage the paint and underlying timber.

For interior paintwork, avoid scrubbing or using standard household cleaning sprays, as these can damage the finish. Instead, use a soft, clean rag with water or a specialist product like Resene Interior Paintwork Cleaner for best results.
